I drive the 1845 on and off for company jobs. First impression, everything inside the cab is decent quality. Controls are all right there, don’t have to do much reaching for things. Adaptive cruise is alright, helps on the highway but sometimes I just turn it off in traffic, feels like too much automated stuff. Having two massive fuel tanks saves a bit of headache tracking down diesel on long routes. One downfall is not every service shop has those Mercedes parts laying around, so if something does break, can take a while to fix. I do think the engine and gearbox don’t make weird noises, feels tight and ready. Convenience wise, the extra USB ports actually matter, my phone’s always charging. Haven’t had any issues with comfort, space, or heat/cold. For what you get, the price seems about in line with what you’d expect for a premium model, but not a bargain.

I drove the Actros 1845 after years in older trucks, and yeah it’s a different vibe. The steering/controls are simple, electronic handbrake, starts with a button, no messing with keys. In traffic and on yard moves it feels easy.

Night driving comfort is solid. The interior lighting has that dim “night” mode so you don’t get blinded inside the cab, plus all the little storage spots are lit up. Sounds like a small thing, but when you’re digging for stuff at 2am it matters.

Seats: ventilation works, you can feel it in the back and cushion. But I’ll be honest, the fabric on the sides pills up fast. You wake up and you’re picking lint off it with your fingers. Annoying.

Ran an Actros 1845 for a bit (new-ish, around 10k km on it). First thing you notice is the cab. Flat floor, you climb in with those high steps and once you’re inside it feels roomy. The bunk is proper comfy, and that leveling thing for the mattress is actually useful when you park on weird ground. I also like the general ride, it feels soft and not tiring over long days.

The tablet-style screens are nice. Climate, lights, truck info, all there. Touch reacts fine. Wireless charging spot is handy, I used it more than I expected.

Stuff I don’t love: base spec headlights on this one were halogen, nothing fancy. Also the stock floor mat from the factory is kinda trash, it gets dirty fast and looks rough.

So, been running the Actros 1845 a bit now. The cab is probably the roomiest I've had yet, even with my taller frame there's a lot of headspace and the seats don’t feel cramped. You sit up and get good visibility. Mattress is way better than most, real comfy for actual sleep not just quick naps. Liking the fridge and the storage boxes, keeps my trash from flying everywhere. Multimedia with buttons on the wheel is handy, don’t gotta mess with the panel when driving. Cruise control and lane assist are nice, although I still keep an eye out, bit weird to trust it at first. Fuel tanks are huge which is great, fewer stops for gas, means I can push on the longer hauls. Only thing that gave me a pause is the price, even for a used unit it sits high. I get that it's Mercedes and all but still. Also, the issue with parts being slow to get now, that's not just talk, my buddy's been waiting weeks for something simple. Otherwise, super solid rig.

Been on an Actros 1845 (the newer ones) a bit and yeah, the cab is the big selling point for me. It’s wide, you don’t feel boxed in, and the storage is actually useful: shelves up top, drawers, both side lockers, plus the little table. The fridge is there too, which sounds small, but on long runs it matters.

Sleeper is properly wide with a decent mattress, not that thin junk. I’m 185cm and I’m fine moving around. Controls are mostly where your hand expects them, multi-wheel does the job, and the adaptive cruise + lane assist takes some load off on highways (still gotta stay awake, obviously).

Only thing, it’s still a Mercedes price, and where I’m at parts can turn into a waiting game depending on what broke. So I wouldn’t call it stress-free ownership. But day to day comfort and driving, it’s solid.
